Sandals Whitehouse is an all-beachfront tropical resort located along a two-mile stretch of beach in the Southern part
of Jamaica. Here you can watch both the sunrise and sunset each day. Luxurious accommodation is provided in the French,
Italian and Dutch Village. The Grand Piazza is lined with bistros, restaurants, cafes and bars. The resort features
three pools, including Jamaica's largest.

After arriving at the airport in Montego Bay, we hopped on the complimentary shuttle to
Whitehouse. Our scenic ride to the resort followed the north-south route crossing the island. Blue skies, sunshine and lush
tropical growth provided a nice welcome.
After our arrival at the resort where we were greeted by the friendly staff members, we settled into our rooms and
had time to explore the resort. The resort has a beautiful design with a lot of open air area and everywhere the guest
will notice the attention to detail.
In the evening, we attended the open air Manager Cocktail Party. Later we had dinner at the Bayside Restaurant.

Some of us participated in one of the two tours "Dolphin Encounter" or "Swim with
the Dolphins". After a 40-minute ride, we arrived at the location and received some instruction how to work and interact
with the dolphins. Then, we were ready to meet those amazing creatures. Everyone had a lot of fun to be so close to dolphins
that usually are just seen from a far distance. After playing with the dolphins, we had the chance to get close to a sting ray.
A unique attraction at this location is a camel that we could pet.
All others who decided to stay at the resort enjoyed the activities at the resort. Aquacise was always
popular with the guest.
At night, guests in our group who vacationed at a Sandals property in the past were invited to the Sandals Select Guest
Cocktail & Dinner Party. This is an event to honor repeat guests, Sandals Select guests. All other guests in our group
enjoyed dinner at Neptunes.

Some of us joined the YS Falls and Zip Sampler tour. After a drive of about 45 minutes, we arrived at the
YS Falls, a beautiful park with a cascading waterfall. First, we received instructions for our Zip line tour. Then, we hopped into our
"Zip line Outfits", helmet and harness. Then, we were ready to climb the steps uphill to get to the first
platform. From there, we zipped over the waterfall to the next platform before we continued to three more
platforms. It was a lot of fun. Afterwards, there was enough time to take a dip into the refreshing waters
of the YS Falls. Later in the afternoon, we were back at Sandals Whitehouse.
We had enough time to get ready for our Private Cocktail Party before we enjoyed our dinner at Giuseppe's restaurant.

Celebrating Birthdays

Sandals Foundation is supporting schools in Jamaica. With the help of the Sandals Foundation, Kerstin's
Deaf Travel organized the visit of the Maranatha School for the Deaf. The purpose of the school visits set up
through the foundation is to encourage the students to try for their best and to share live experience. Thus, our group
was asked to provide some information about our professional lives. Chris Noschese put a Power Point presentation together that
told a short story about each of us. We were looking forward to meeting the students.
The school is remotely located and it was quite an adventure to get there. Upon our arrival, we received a very warm welcome
from the students and the principal. It was so much fun to tell the students about our
group. Chris who is a former math teacher did a marvelous job to interact with the children and have a very interesting
communication with them. Thanks to all in our group who participated in the school visit.

Another day in Paradise! Some of us joined the Pelican Bar Highlight Catamaran tour
and had a marvelous time. Others just enjoyed staying at the resort where so many options for relaxation
and entertainment are offered every day.
In the afternoon, the group got together for the Beach Olympic games. We had a ball!
Dinner was served at Eleanors, a French theamed restaurant. The highlight of the evening was the
Chocolate Buffet with many tempting, sweet creations.

Staying at an all-inclusive Sandals resort means that all meals at all restaurants are included,
as well as unlimitted premium brand drinks, soft drinks, beer and Beringer wines. In addition, almost all water
sports like snorkling, windsurfing, kayaking, wateskiing, kneeboarding or hydrobikes are included. Certified divers
will enjoy two free dives every day including most of the needed dive gear.
Prior to dinner, we met in the Grand Piazza for a Group Picture. Afterwards, we proceded to our Private
Group Dinner.
