Tulip Time Land & River Cruise Tour

Many guests arrived in Amsterdam earlier...	and participated in a guided walking tour
Tulips in big pots decorated many streets	Houseboats can be found on every canal
After Amsterdam, we traveled to Haarlem	The city's church is very impressive
During the free time, we explored the market square	and many stores in small streets like the cheese store
Our ship, the AmaCerto	Once on the ship, we celebrated Debbie's birthday
After a scenic cruise on the Ijsselmeer, we docked in Hoorn	Hoorn had its glory days in the 17th century
After enjoying a ride from Hoorn through the country side,	... we visited a tulip farm
Being back in Hoorn, we enjoyed a short walk through Hoorn	This beautiful statue is located at the old harbor in Hoorn
It's time to say goodbye to Hoorn	Prior to dinner, we are entertaint by a magician in the lounge
Some of us met for dinner in the Chef's Table restaurant	The Chef's Table restaurant provides fine Specialty Dining
The Chef's Table restaurant has a great view	Celebrating Ross & Selina's wedding anniversary
Our next stop was romantic Bruges	with its charming canals and medieval architecture
The Horse Head Drinking Fountain caught our attention	A guided tour in Bruges provided many interesting facts
In the afternoon, we had a wonderful time in Ghent, ...	one of Belgium's lesser-known gems
Another night in the Chef's Table restaurant ...	that is located in the back of the ship
Another fascinating Belgium city is Antwerp ...	that we discovered during a walking tour
Antwerp’s Renaissance architecture is breathtaking	... and can be adored at the central square
This is not a church, it is the Old Butcher's Hall	The City Hall was erected in the 16th century

The gothic cathedral has several Rubens paintings	Visiting the castle of Groot-Bijgaarden
Every year, the Flemish Renaissance style castle ...	invites visitors to its spring flower gardens

Beautiful displays of daffodils, tulips and hyacinths	Delft is a charming town where we had a walking tour
The town was the home of the painter Johannes Vermeer	Many houses in town are from the Dutch Golden Age
The old pharmacy at the main market and the ...	cheese store caught our eyes
Delft is known for its hand-painted blue-and-white pottery	We visited the factory to see how the pottery is made
Arriving at Kinderdijk	... where we saw many well preserved windmills

The highlight of our cruise	... was the visit of Keukenhof Gardens
Every year, more than 7 million flower bulbs are planted	... with a variety of 800 different tulips
Keukenhof is a park of 32 hectares or 79 acres full of flowers	Every year the flower park is dedicated to a specific theme
Keukenhof will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2024	We celebrated Rachel's birthday
